At The Africa Research Collaborative for Health (The ARC 4 Health), research is at the heart of our mission to reduce child and maternal mortality, strengthen health systems, and improve overall public health outcomes. We believe that generating credible, high-quality local evidence is essential to driving meaningful change in healthcare policies and interventions across Sierra Leone and beyond.
Our research initiatives focus on identifying root causes of morbidity and mortality, developing culturally appropriate solutions, and ensuring that data-driven interventions reach those who need them most. By integrating community engagement, advanced surveillance, laboratory research, and implementation science, we transform research findings into practical, life-saving actions at the local, national, and global levels.
